The purpose of this course is to introduce students to academic writing. Academic Writing covers a vast range of academic activities like essay writing, term paper writing, research paper writing and dissertation and research writing. The course prepares the students in a gradual way,starting from the basic unit of writing; paragraph. The different reading tools and strategies like notes taking, skimming and scanning are taught to the students to build their writing and reading skills.
